Hello everyone,

The Boscombe & Christchurch Neighbourhood Policing Team have had a proactive week.

Here's a quick look at some of the work we've been doing to keep our community safe and connected

5 x Arrests

3 x Reports of antisocial behaviour

1 x Community Resolutions issued

2 x Community engagements at Christchurch & Highcliffe

4 x Address checks and reassurance visits

2 x Hours of patrol on foot/mobile in problem area

1 x CAWN ( child abduction warning notice ) issued to a male concerned in supplying drugs to an under 18

NPT have been made aware of a female in Highcliffe targeting vulnerable people near cashpoints. Information sent out to local residents for their awareness. Investigations are ongoing

NPT have also received reports of youths repeatedly breaking into the RETIRED NURSES NATIONAL HOME on RIVERSIDE AVENUE in BOURNEMOUTH. This is an abandoned building surrounded by security fencing. It is illegal for children or other members of the public to enter the site without the owner’s permission. The building is potentially dangerous and presents significant risk to anyone who chooses to enter the site. We would ask that parents ensure that they know where their children are, and educate them in relation to the potential dangers and illegality of entering abandoned buildings. NPT officers will be performing regular patrols and checks on this building – any intruders can expect to be dealt with robustly.
